American Gentleman Magazine is pleased to announce it is an official media partner of L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios. The event, set for Friday October 19th through Sunday October 21st, is the most important fashion week event in Los Angeles, allowing fashion brands to showcase their Spring/Summer 2013 collections in front of Hollywood's high-powered entertainment and fashion industry professionals. L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios will feature turnkey runway productions and design suites, opening the door for brands to present their collections to media, stylists, buyers and celebrities, and also providing direct gifting opportunities to L.A.'s elites.

American Gentleman Magazine is the only media partner in the men's fashion, lifestyle and luxury goods category for the event. "We are honored to be a partner of this event, both for the ability to interact with high profile, superior-quality fashion brands and also for the opportunity to further the American Gentleman movement and what that means in terms of lifestyle and fashion," stated Founder and Editor in Chief LeMar Joichin III. "To be an American Gentleman is to recall the traditions of gentlemanly conduct and character with a thoroughly modern take on fashion, luxury and lifestyle, and L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios is known for highlighting brands that share this vision too," said Joichin.

"We're so pleased to have American Gentleman Magazine as a media partner this year because fashion is not an industry geared toward just women, especially since L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios hosts one of L.A.'s most notable male designers, Anthony Franco," remarked L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios Executive Producer and The Gallery L.A. Founder Mikey Koffman.

Highlights of the three-night event include the couture show on Sunday, October 21st with styles from Los Angeles-based Anthony Franco, the self-taught designer of both men's and women's wear, who in 2007 earned the Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer of the Year Award for his Fall 2007 collection. Also included in Sunday's line up is Los Angeles-based designer Dina Bar-El. Known for the now famous "yellow gown" worn by Kate Hudson in the movie "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," the women's evening wear designer has a list of coveted clientele, including Victoria Beckham, Nancy O'Dell and "American Idol" finalist Katharine McPhee. In addition, she has designed for television shows such as "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Dancing With the Stars."

L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios is a star-studded event dedicated to promoting and expanding the awareness of the L.A. fashion scene in the glamorous and historic Sunset Gower Studios. The Gallery Los Angeles, a highly respected, full-service marketing and event production company dedicated to fostering the growth and talent of L.A. designers, has been instrumental in developing L.A. Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios and L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios. They remain an ongoing force in the expansion of the L.A. fashion scene.
