The pieces were featured in the home of Texas transplant, Casandra Walker and family on the episode, “Fixin’ to Reno” that will re-air on HGTV, October 24th, 2016 at 7:00pm EST. The black & white fashion inspired artwork featured in the master bedroom is titled “Paris After Dark”, from Darrell’s “Roaming” collection. It was the first piece to be unveiled publicly from an ongoing series that he will be presenting in New York 2017. Darrell Troppy notes that he is inspired by his world travels and incorporates the life, love, and language of every recipient into each work of art. “I really wanted to make sure the art pieces for Casandra and her family's first home were extraordinary. I know this was a huge milestone in their new life in California and I am honored to have my works in their forever home.”

Darrell Troppy is a creative artist who specializes in the encaustic approach to creating artwork with the use of beeswax and other unique mediums. Some of Troppy’s collections have been showcased at The Art Connection Gallery in Palm Springs, CA and the KBR Tower in Houston, TX. In 2014, Troppy was invited to participate in the Carrousel Eastern and Western International Art Exhibit in Paris, France at The Louvre.
