Celebrities are flocking to international designers as prints like traditional Ankara become a mainstay on the fashion scene. First we saw Beyonce and Alicia Keys both rocking Ankara prints while shooting a recent music video. Then stars like Solange Knowles, Fergie, Amber Rose and even Lady Gaga began wearing the stunning vibrant prints. Ankara prints have been a huge part of the most fashionable African women's wardrobes for many years, and with American celebrities joining the trend, Ankara is becoming a global phenomenon.
